Undergraduate and Post Graduate Student Services Office (USO/ PSO Operations)
Under the new Undergraduate Education Policy 2020 by HEC, the University has established the Undergraduate and Post Graduate Student Services Office (USO/ PSO Operations). It aims to facilitate students by providing guidance and support to ensure their academic progress, as well as assistance in navigating academic resources and services.
Card Processing and Issuance
DSA is the central office that caters to the needs of all the students. Student cards are processed and issued to the students within 2 weeks of the commencement of classes as the cards are necessary for admittance to the university campus.
Advisement/ Counselling Services
i. Undergraduate Advisement Office
For Undergraduate Students, switching from Annual System to the Semester System is difficult and the students find it very hard to adjust in the new system. To ensure that they do not get carried away with the challenges of the Semester System and that they flourish academically, a strong Advisement System has been devised. This system ensures that the undergraduate students are properly taken care of in a new environment and enhances their academic excellence. The advisement includes Academic Advisement and Psychological Advisement.
ii. Research Advisement Office (Postgraduate Students) --- Coming Soon!
The Postgraduate Students’ research advising system will be established in order to solve the research-related issues of the students. The aim of establishing this office will be to allocate research advisors from the relevant faculty who will guide the students, help equip them with the necessary research skills and enhance the expertise of MPhil and PhD research Scholars.
CMS Support
At MUL, all academic activities are conducted online i.e. through the Campus Management System (CMS). DSA facilitates the students in getting their CMS related issues resolved as they occur e.g., login issues, course registration, time-table issues, roll number slip-related issues etc.
